Trees are very important in our society, they do not only help reduce the pollution and prevent natural disasters, but more in particular urban trees help to improve ai quality in cities, reduce noise pollution and reduce the heat island effect. Unfortunately, all these trees need maintenance, and just to take care of one tree you need one entire day, that’s why me and my team built VeeTA - Tree Meter. Our app takes the long process of VTA (visual tree assessment) and simplify it for an iOS app. WIth VeeTA you can take measurements of hight, width, inclination and crown diameter pf the tree; furthermore you can save the trees’ datas to monitor their health trough time, and additionally you can localize them, singularly or in groups, creating a cluster.
